Sublime Text for ipod instal1/21/2024 ![]() It seems the new Chimera is implemented into Multibeast 7.3, but the Unibeast is not yet updated. I could not even get to the point of using Multibeast. I tried installing 10.10.3 using Unibeast 5.10, but I could not finish the install because the USB keyboard and mouse were unstable during the install and flat out not working at all when I got to the choosing the language part after install. Thanks in advance everyone for your help!!! The rest can come later at their leisure, if at all. Waiting for textblade to arrive at any moment before trying that out.īut for now, if I could get ethernet and the HD6000 to work, I feel I'll have at least a functional Hackintosh NUC. And even that I'm not sure because I haven't tried connecting any BT device. This particular NUC has additional niceties, like built-in bluetooth, ac capable wifi, audio and infrared controller. * Has anyone gotten the HD6000 GPU to work? On a NUC or otherwise?įor your reference, here's the EFI folder on the hard drive (it's almost exactly the same as the one on the USB installer) * How much mem should I set for the IGP? 32, 64, 96. ![]() * I installed Yosemite using clover set for UEFI only, but the BIOS is set for both legacy boot and UEFI. * I think I need to have the ist patch the AppleIntelBDWFramebuffer kext, but it's not doing so because the string to be replace cannot be found. * What is the correct ig-platform-id for the i5-5250U which has HD6000 GPU? I've also perused through the HD5500 guide thread and it seems if I could figure out what's being said there, I could get my HD6000 to work. all the way to 1GB, but oddly enough it seems to work better when it's set to lower ones (32 and 64MB), and goes bonkers at higher mem like 1GB. In the BIOS I've tried setting VRAM to 32,64. The Graphics Display from system info shows unknown graphics with 14MB of VRAM. I read through firewolf's blog and tried setting ig-platform-id in the ist to everything from 0x16260000 - 0x16260006 to no avail. Also, the bootup process is slow because it seems to be stuck the longest while trying to detect the audio and the IGP Even the mouse movement is slow as molasses, and I'm thinking it's all due to unaccelerated graphics (it probably doesn't help that it's set to 2560x1440 - my monitor's native resolution). The installed Yosemite is functional, but it's really slow. BUT!!! I still can't get it to recognize the GPU and do hardware accelerated graphics. OK, so I have the NUC5i5RYH that's fitted with i5-5250 CPU + HD6000 GPU.Ĭouldn't get anything less than 10.10.3 installed to save my life, but once the newest Yosemite came out, it finally recognized the CPU and I was able to get it installed using clover.
